Monday, September 1 cometh on apace!

The registration process for the Sedbergh reunion continues until and including this Monday, September 1. Following that date , "all weekend" registration will no longer be possible but "Sunday only" registration will continue. If you are planning to join us for Saturday evening, you have 48 hours left to register.

The old square log huts Raccoon and Mink have now been taken from West Field to the Village Hall of Notre Dame de Bon Secours. For photos of the move, please go to the Sedbergh alumni website www.sedbergh.com In time, the huts will be repaired and repainted - if only the walls could speak, what stories they would tell. The tree planting ceremony to commemorate a number of individuals will take place around these huts on Sunday, September 14, at about 3:30PM

A reminder about "dress" on Saturday evening. It will be the only formal event of the weekend so you are being encouraged to wear a jacket and tie and the ladies a dress or slacks. It is not yet clear about the weather, September evenings can be quite chilly. Please be warned.

We are expecting a full house for dinner on Saturday evening. Children from 6 years on will be eating with us. The "nursery" is in the same building where we will be eating and is essentially for the very young, babes in arms primarily.

Of interest to you will be that as of today, August 29th, 2014 the stained glass windows donated to Sedbergh UK are now on view there and are likely to be so for the next five hundred years! Go and see them should you travel to the UK.

We look forward to a wonderful gathering in two weeks. It's time for all of us to pray for good weather!

If you have questions, please ask them.

Best regards,

Tony
