Peter Chapman - 1939-2019

Old Sedberghians from the 1950s will be saddened to hear of the death of Peter Chapman in June of this year.

The following obituary was published in the Victoria Times Colonist in early July -

"Chapman, Peter J: Peter passed away peacefully at home on June 25th. He is survived by his wife, Sue, stepchildren Travis and Jaymie, sister Janet, brother David, and their families. Peter was a man of many talents and interests, from athletics in his youth, dam building to Scope Photography and imprinting and beyond. He was never hesitant to try something new and his inventive mind knew no bounds. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He now rests in God's loving embrace. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallgardens.com."

My own personal and abiding memory of Peter (Horse as we used to call him) is of his tearing down to the pump house in the Valley to turn on or off the pump before our afternoon group showers in the locker room!

We send our condolences to Peter's family and friends. Thanks to Michael Furst for the information about Peter's death.
